Jim Wilson

Executive Director

Jim is the founding member of Straight Gate, Inc. and Co-Founder of 12-2-1 Roundtables. He brings over 35 years of experience and expertise in helping people with addictions and life-controlling issues.

Jim has previously held key roles as a Clinical Director, Therapist, and Counselor. He has a special interest in Treatment Courts, and has served many clients in Community Corrections (DRC), Adult Drug Court Programs, and Juvenile Corrections.

Jim received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University and has held an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) Certification with Clinical Supervision endorsements for more than thirty years.

Jim has been in long-term recovery from addiction since 1988. He and his wife Faith are members of Summit Church in Elkins, WV where they serve in various capacities, including a recovery ministry.

Faith Wilson

Associate Director

Faith, a person in long term recovery from substances and compulsive eating, began her work in the human services field in 1985. She started as a college intern working with suicide risk adolescents on Rikers Island, N.Y. and worked there with solitary confinement persons until 1998, when she took a position with New York State Parole.

Faith received a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1991.

In 2015, she relocated to West Virginia where she worked in Community Corrections as a substance abuse counselor, a therapist in Juvenile Corrections, and currently as a Co-Founder / Assistant Director of 12-2-1 Roundtables. She and her husband Jim are grateful followers of Jesus Christ and serve in a recovery ministry at Summit Church in Elkins, WV.

Jennifer Ball

Chairperson

Jennifer worked in corporate public relations and nonprofit communications for 18 years before making a career change in 2007 to a private practice in therapeutic health and wellness. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University and a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Colorado. In addition to the Straight Gate, Inc. Board, Jennifer has served on the Board of Directors for The Wild Ramp Farmer’s Market since 2018. She is a member of Redemption Church WV in Huntington.

Lee Ann Nelson

Secretary

Lee Ann graduated from Elkins High School in 1981, Marshall University in 1984 with an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology, Rhema Bible Training Center in 1991 through the Teacher’s track, Davis & Elkins College in 2005 with an Associate Degree in Nursing, Alderson Broadus College in 2007 with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and Marshall University again in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration. She now resides in Elkins, West Virginia where she cares for her father and beloved pets. She has been employed by Fresenius Medical Care of North America since 1999 where she is now a Registered Nurse. She currently attends and serves at Rivers of Living Water Ministries where she is the Women’s Ministry leader as well as serving in Children’s Church and other areas of service as needed. Lee Ann is also on the board of Brushstroke Ministries in
Buckhannon, WV and T-N-T Ministries International based out of Morgantown, WV.
