About Us

"Connect. Recover. Thrive. Together."

Hand Pile of Happy Group

Our Story

12-2-1 Roundtables operates under Straight Gate, Inc., a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.

The co-developers Jim and Faith Wilson are in long-term recovery and have a combined seventy-plus year history of working with legally and substance-involved persons.

The interactive and experiential 12-2-1 format and content is based on the principles and processes of the Transtheoretical (TTM), Stages of Change (SOC) Model and the fundamental and spiritual tenets and practices of Alcoholics Anonymous.

By sharing lived experiences in safe, semi-structured Roundtables, we give people a voice and create a supportive space for growth. Our goal is to increase faith and recovery awareness, empowering individuals to build a strong foundation for lasting transformation and healing.

The Roundtables address the guiding principles of recovery and dimensions of wellness using a novel self-exploration approach.

Roundtables are designed to identify, magnify, and challenge beliefs and behaviors that contribute to life-limiting problems; they are relational, and illuminate strengths and deficits in each "Focus Area."

Roundtables promote individualized engagement in a virtual group format.

12-2-1 Roundtables engage people in a process.

The by-product…hope restored.

One person, one Roundtable at a time...
