Our Mission

 

Our mission is to have transformative change in the lives of individuals as a result of their participation in the faith-based and science-informed 12-2-1 Model. Our goal is for those in need to find lasting recovery and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Our Values

 

1. God:  We believe the 12-2-1 Model was God-given; thus we strive to give Him all the glory for the good work that happens here.​

​

2. 12-Step Recovery:  We believe in the 12-step philosophy and way of life.  We strive to have a working understanding of the 12-steps. 

​

3. Community:  We believe in the power of community and seek to build a healthy community spirit in our organization and in those we serve.

4. "Essentials" of Recovery:  We strive to practice these principles in our own lives and instill them in the people we serve. 

       

       a. Honesty: Not the absence of a lie, but the presence of all truth.

       b. Open-Mindedness: Closed minds don't open doors.

       c. Willingness: Do the next right thing, put one foot in front of the other.

5. Optimal Wellness:  We believe in being good stewards of the bodies that God has given us.  We believe in abstinence from alcohol and all other mood and mind-altering drugs.  We promote healthy eating and having an active, well-balanced lifestyle.

6. Creativity:  We believe we are most like our Creator when we create.  We encourage thinking "out of the box" and exploring creative solutions to problems.  We promote creativity in the development of all our programs.

7. Authenticity:  We are all fallible human beings, and make mistakes. When we mess up, we are quick to admit it and take corrective action as necessary.  We sincerely strive to be the “real deal” in all that we do.
